1.Venice Walking Tour and Gondola Ride

★★★★★★★★★★3.5 · 3,630 reviews · 2 hours 9 minutes to 2 hours 27 minutes (approx.) · from $72Our pick

A guided Venice walk from St Mark’s to Rialto, then a classic 30-minute gondola ride along the Grand Canal and canals in the Fenice area.

“The walking tour was fabulous and guide so knowledgeable, though I would see a few more hidden spots. As for gondola ride is was disappointing to say, it was disgusting-and turn our last day into an unforgettable day in Venice for all the wrong reasons. We were huddled like cattle and expected to sit on this tiny chairs opposite each other.(we are 6 ft tall ) the people at the ride and new the tour was no help to fix it. Left us very very disappointed. Would NOT recommend at all.. Do the walking tour ..”

“Francesco was a helpful tour guide with a nice sense of humor. He covered quite a few landmarks of the city in a quick 1 hour. Even though the weather was not the best with so much fog, we got to learn about the history and the structure of the city of Venise. After the walking tour, we had a few minutes of VR experience about the history of Venise. It was a big plus of the tour and we enjoyed it a lot. The highlight of the experience was the gondola ride in the mist over the water of Venise. It was like in the movie and it felt…”

“One of the best guided walking tours I have ever done! This was the perfect start to my visit to Venice providing a good orientation of the city. My guide Valentina was absolutely fantastic! Her passion for the city, her knowledge and her positive, friendly and entertaining engagement with all the guests really made the tour feel like a shared experience, even though for me I was travelling on my own. I would highly rate Valentina and this tour for anyone visiting the city. Conveniently the tour ends at St. Mark's Square meaning you are then well placed to continue exploring the delights of the city. The fish market was…”

We were unable to make that time because we had already scheduled our day beginning with your 10:00 tour.”

First off the gondola ride was a little cramped with 6 people per boat but for the price of this tour understandable. The hidden Venice walking tour was amazing and the lady was knowledgable and very funny with a good sense of humour.”

“We met Valério for this tour ‘In the Footsteps of Commissario Brunetti’, conveniently at our hotel. As English nationals, we have not seen the German Series of Donna Leos books, we formed our own images of the places and characters ourselves. Valério had a hard task as 2 of our group of 3 had not read any of this series of books! I having read only 8 of the 35. Yet, Valério made the 2 hour tour fun even for my friends who were unfamiliar with sites of murders, bodies, the police station, hospital and Brunetti’s favourite bars, newspapers stand and restaurants. Filled in with other interesting facts on such…”
