“Disaster. Didn't happen. Due to land in Venice 9am on day of tour scheduled at 2pm. Unfortunately, airline canceled flight due to mechanical issues and we were rebooked on next flight 4 hours later. I communicated this change the night before the tour to the tour operator. I kept them updated throughout our arrival. Unfortunately, we arrived to hotel to drop our luggage 40 minutes past 2pm so we missed the meeting time. I told operator we will meet them at the 2nd stop as per the itinerary published on the website at our own expense. Not only did the tour operator cease communicating with me regularly at that point…”

That was a neat little activity but I really thought, from the description, that we would be actually able to try the glass blowing. I am not sure if that was my misreading or something wasn't clear. Murano itself is run down and mostly vacant. We couldn't find any open shops or cafes in the time we had to explore.”

Had a great late lunch at La Fornace right before since it’s next to the glass factory! I wish we got a free little glass gift at the end of the tour but didn’t. The glass blower was clearly very skilled, I think his name was Fabio? And Rocco did a good job of explaining! It was very quick, which I liked since I had a lot packed on my itinerary”
